“The group returns to Fort Worth, and the home of Hell’s Half Acre once again inspires hot blood and sharp tongues. Bubba, going solo, reckons with both East Texas Kenny and Cowboy Matt to win prize finds, though Mary could be the one reeling in the big catch.”
New Storage Wars Texas shows tonight. We meet some new bidders who seem to be rivals right from the start. Kenny who we’ve seen before buys a lot and with a lot of money and a new guy in a cowboy hat and sunglasses. Looks like the action is heating up in Texas.
Ricky and Bubba seemed like a sure thing in buying a locker with musical instruments in it. At the last minute Lesa starts bidding and they drop it on her when it goes over $2000! A bit surprising she overpaid, but she will make it work. Rudy was on the hunt for an appliance locker and got one below $500 pretty easily.
Jenny and Mary put their hopes for profit into the poster they found. They take it to a Russian gift shop to have it appaised. It is a voting poster, encourage Soviet citizens to vote in 1973. The shop owner estimates the poster is worth $250.
Ricky and Bubba find a lot of good tools in the locker they bid on. A few curious items were skeet shoots, clay targets and a kiln. Looks like the previous owner used to bake and make his own skeet clay targets for a business or to use. They appraise the tools and get the skeet throwing gear looked at. Their total for this locker made them the winner in making the most money in this round of bidding.
Kenny, new bidder, seems to have aligned himself with Ricky and Bubba as their main competitor. They bid Kenny up on a locker full of junk, but he does win a few lockers on this rainy day. Mary and Jenny to have some okay items in their furniture locker.
Mary and Jenny team up to buy some good lockers. Both girls are out in the rain at an auction and want some lockers full of good furniture. No idea where Moe is, but this seems to be a new partnership. For this first day of bidding, Mary has no money and will need Jenny to cover the bidding costs. They do win the first locker of the day.
We also meet new bidder, Kenny, who also runs an auction house.
Moe and Mary are checking out a locker that isn’t packed well and seems to be piles of trash. Mary and Jenny battle for a few bids on this locker, but Mary finally wins it at $800. In going through it with Moe, she finds mostly trash, a locked cabinet and one desk. Victor does win a locker full of collectibles he hopes pays off. Both Ricky and Jenny pass on this one.
Mary is focused on what she needs at these lockers in Texarkana, which is raw materials. Mary needs basic items to be creative and put something together. Jenny says her customers like country items, so she is focused on that. For some reason, Victor is giving Jenny the silent treatment when she tries to be friendly.
